Hi, I’m Dheekshitha (Lakshmi Gayathri), a Kidlit Illustrator, Character Designer, and Visual Developer based in Tamil Nadu, India. I create vibrant, character-driven illustrations that celebrate emotion, playfulness, and cultural warmth. I work across both digital and traditional mediums, drawing inspiration from storytelling, expressive personalities, and rich colour palettes.

My illustrations often blend texture, joy, and gentle humour to build engaging worlds for young readers. I am particularly drawn to illustrating picture books, early readers, and stories filled with heart, whimsy, and charm.
